Scott’s Refrigerated Freightways interstate road network is supported by rail services on longer journeys from the eastern states to Perth and return, as well as from Melbourne to Brisbane and into far North Queensland. All rail services are fully integrated with our cold storage and depot infrastructure.
 
Scott’s have 60 company owned rail containers cycling throughout the business and this is supported by the equivalent amount of containers supplied from Pacific National through their trailer rail offering. All containers can be tracked online via the reefer track website where temperature, temperature settings and location can be monitored.
 
Scott’s recognise that not all freight is suitable to travel on rail, but wherever we can identify a cost advantage without compromise to service, we will always promote this as a viable service to our customers.
