The entirety of Scott’s Refrigerated Freightways fleet is equipped with MT Data. MT Data is a satellite tracking system that monitors the location, speed and other primary operating parameters of the vehicle.
 
Scott’s drivers are continually monitored via a GPS satellite tracking system known as MT Data. Vital information in relation to road safety, speed compliance and evidence of driver fatigue can be provided instantaneously to Management so that any necessary corrective action can be promptly taken.
 
In addition to MT Data to monitor speed, all of Scott’s prime movers are speed limited in line with our Speed Compliance Policy. This means that the driver can not drive in excess of 100 kilometres per hour which is the maximum speed limit for trucks on Australia’s major highways.
 
Our vehicles are also equipped with speed alert buzzers to identify speeding to the driver. The buzzer sounds until the speed of the vehicle decreases  and an email alert is automatically sent to Management.
